On May 23rd and 24th, the representatives of over 20 European projects on biofuels joined together in the Biofuel clustering workshop in Brussels hosted by INEA (Innovation Networks and Executive Agency).
The main objectives of the workshop were:
- identify of synergies and establish collaborations & information exchange between projects
- Agree on and plan joint communication and/or dissemination activities
- Being updated on the European Commission R&I policy
Giampaolo Manzolini and Paul Cobden presented the CONVERGE project showing the main objectives of the projects together with the innovative technologies developed. The workshop was very fruitful and CONVERGE is in charge of the organization of two following workshops: one on the techno-economic evaluation of the biodiesel production processes and the second on syngas treatment for hydrogen production.
